Marty loved his family more than anything. Loved taking his grandchildren to sporting events and spoiling them. I worked with Marty at J&L Management and we remain friends and kept in contact. He would call me and another old coworker to get our football picks just to go with the opposite team. He was the Ultimate prankster. I have so many great memories from the J&L days. He was my go to person for advice. Always gave me the best answers. We would text funny memes and he always was quick witted with his responses. He was so darn funny. I am sure going to miss him. May he rest in eternal peace 🙏

This is Debbie Jaworski (Koan), an old neighbor of the Huffman family.  I'm very sorry to hear about Marty's death.   I know he was a good guy.  He was one of my brother's good friends (part of the "gang").  It seemed like they were all always over at our house, whether it was them watching tv, playing basketball outside or just "hanging" in our driveway next to all their COOL cars.  Ah....the 70's!  I will always remember when the guys would all come over to our house and pull in the driveway in their sharp, clean, loud muscle cars...especially Marty's.  I think it was a "440 Charger(?)".  I just loved it and thought they were all so cool....lol.  That's where I got my love of sharp, loud muscle cars from (to this day).....from my brother and his friends hanging around our house.   My little secret was that I was actually quite smitten with Marty for the longest time.  As a young teenager, I had a huge crush on Marty...lol! I'm pretty sure he never knew though.

I wanted to come to pay my respects, unfortunately I live up in Lapeer and I can't make it down there on Saturday.

My wife and I send our sincere condolences to the entire Huffman family. I have years of fond memories and interactions with Marty. He was always soft spoken like a big teddy bear. Marty was a great friend and will be missed by everyone.

Marty was also blessed to be part of the Stokes (Jason and Renee) family, including 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind several beloved nieces and nephews, Kira (sons Kooper and Kolton), Troy, Samantha, Rachael (Sarah) and Billy.


Marty was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Betty Huffman.
