Mary M. Dion

Mary Dion age 95, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord, May 26, 2016. Proceeded in death by Raymond, her loving husband of 55 years, her daughter, Janice Marie and six brothers and sisters. Dear mother of Marcia (Jerry) Robinson, Karen (Hal) Lanfear, Jude (Michael) Tyle, David (Jill) Dion. Proud grandmother of John (Sarah), Robert (Lisa), Hal (Denise), Janice, Zachary (Leah), Michael and Jessica. Great grandmother of Nick, Ray, Katie, Mason, John, Ceci, Victoria, Isabella and Rosalie. Mary was a devout Catholic, who showed her faith everyday, living selflessly. Mary was very proud of her Irish heritage. She shared the struggles and triumphs of her parents who came from Ireland to Massachusetts where they raised seven children. Mary always had a twinkle in her eyes and a story to tell. She had a way with the written word too, whether to right a wrong or to praise a job well done. She was easy to laughter and always had a smile for everyone. She leaves us with many fond memories and an inspiring example of how to gracefully live a long life. We will miss her everyday.
