Peter took immense joy in rescuing and caring for dogs, especially his beloved companion Ellie, whom he cherished taking on daily walks. Peter had a passion for collecting various hats, each one representing a unique story or memory.
Among his favorite pastimes were playing board games with Rack-O and Bingo being his particular favorites. He cherished the moments spent engaging in friendly competition and laughter with family and friends.
Above all Peter's greatest joy in life was his daughter, who meant the world to him. His dedication to her well-being and happiness was unwavering, and he found purpose and fulfillment in every moment spent together.
Peter is survived by his loving daughter, Tina Noel, his nephew, David (Denise) Elliott, and his unofficial chosen family, Nancy & Alan Bonjour, along with many friends he met along the way.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, William & Alice Young, and his parents Roy & Dorothy Noel.
The family takes great comfort in knowing Peter gets to finally meet his father Roy who passed away when Peter was just a baby. They know he was there to welcome him home.
A visitation for Peter will be held Friday, March 1, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, Michigan 48071.
The family will receive guests from 11:30 AM, until the time of the service at Noon. The service will be at Free Will Baptist Church, 302 E. 13 Mile Rd., Madison Heights, MI 48071. Following the service, we will gather to partake in a meal and share our memories of Peter.
