Teresita "Tess" Gonzales, age 71, of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Tess found joy in nurturing her garden tending to her beloved flowers with care. Her green thumb was matched only by her passion for exploring diverse cuisines, relishing in the flavors of various foods.
As a devoted member of the BNP religious group, Tess found solace in prayer and was an active participant. She possessed a natural gift in hosting ensuring that every event was filled with abundance of food, warmth and hospitality.
Above all, Tess cherished her family and grandkids, showering them with boundless affection and unwavering support. She has a caring nature, also known for her tireless work ethic and generosity.
Tess will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will forever remember her as a beacon of light in their lives. She was a beloved wife to the late Ernesto Gonzales; Loving Mother to Michelle Norwood, Michael (Stephanie) Gonzales, & Penelope (Eric) Seidenberger; Cherished grandmother to Caleb, Dawson, Maverick, Brielle, Camille & Julia. And adored sister to Olivia, Yolanda, Venia, Thelma, Madeline, Joel, Stephen, Roland, Lester, the late Ramon and the late Melchor.
A visitation For Tess will be held Sunday, February 11th, 2024 from 3:00PM to 9:00PM at Edward Swanson and Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Rd., Madison Heights, MI 48071.
She will be In-State, Monday, February 12th, 2024, at 9:00AM up until the Funeral Mass at 9:30AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Rd., Sterling Heights, MI 48313
Immediately following the Funeral mass, committal prayers will be said at White Chapel Cemetery, 621 W. Long Lake Rd., Troy MI 48098.
