Tom wore many hats, working at the Dodge Truck Plant, Detroit Edison, Western Electric, Burroughs, and the US Army Tank-Automotive Command. After retiring in 1993, Tom and Barbara were "snow birds" in Central Florida during the winters until 2012.
Tom offered his services to many causes that he was passionate about including being a member of the Knights of Columbus, Right to Life, and a member of St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Church, also acting as an usher, church festival committee, and president of the Mom and Dad's club.
In his spare time, he was a devoted sports fan, card player, bowler, golfer, travel, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
