Wilma L. Johnson

Wilma L. Johnson, age 75, a resident of Madison Heights, Michigan, died Sunday, April 3, 2011. Wilma was born May 6, 1935 in Habersham, Tennessee, she was pre-deceased by her two children - the late Karen Fitchett and the late Brian Johnson. Wilma is survived by her brother and sisters Vida (Chester) Gaylor of Eubank, KY, John (Kathryn) Bruce of Knoxville, TN, Bertha (the late George) Vazzana of Knoxville, TN, Joanna (the late William) Zobel of Troy, MI, the late Willard Bruce, the late Lawrence Bruce, the late Leona VonBrethorst, the late Ava Branam, the late Howard Bruce and the late Audrey Bradley.

Wilma is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many close friends. Wilma retired from the Michigan Department of Transportation and was a member of the Twelve-Ryan Baptist Church.

Visitation Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 3-8 p.m., at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre, Madison Heights, MI.
