Bobby Earnest Moody, 68, of Madison Heights, passed away, Saturday, May 12, 2018 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the loving husband of Cheryl Moody with whom he was married for 46 years.
Born March 12, 1950 in Lumberton, NC, he was a son of the late Enos Capers Moody and Lennie Parker Moody. Bobby was a retired truck driver with BRC.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Wayne Moody, H.B. Moody, Kenneth Moody, Larry Moody, and Billy Moody, and three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Lewis, Linda Harris, and Debbie Fay Finklea.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Terry Moody and wife Laurie; one brother, Rev. Lonnie Baldwin and wife Brenda; two sisters, Patricia Oakes and husband Mark, and Joyce Baldwin; two grandchildren, Kylee Rose Moody and Kole Wayne Moody; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Lonnie Baldwin officiating.
