Charlotte Boyer Baldridge

Born in Worthington, MN, March 12, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Ralph Boyer and Fern Charlotte Hurley Boyer. Char was the valedictorian of her High School graduating class. She was retired from Baldridge Architects and Engineers and she and John were the owners and operators of the Mountain Terrace Vineyard in Amherst. She also served as the historian for the 359th WWII Fighter Group Association for over 30 years and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

One son, Dewayne Ward Huston and one brother, Anthony Boyer preceded her in death.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Dean C. Huston of Indianapolis, IN; one daughter, Linda D. Wessels and her husband Mark of Rock Rapids, IA; five brothers, Steven J. Boyer, Gene K. Boyer, David A. Boyer, Wallace E. Boyer and Douglas R. Boyer; three sisters, Becky JoAnn Strandberg, Virginia S. Christenson and Donna R. McKinley and two grandsons, Benjamin D. Huston and Samuel F. Wessels.

A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dennis S. Roberts officiating. Following the service, the family will host a reception at the church.

Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2016 at Monticello Memory Gardens in Charlottesville.
