Clarence Gilmer Loving

Born December 28, 1934 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late George Gilmer Loving, Sr. and Ora Page Loving Carr. Mr. Loving was a retired Vice President of Operations with Griffin Pipe Foundry with thirty-four years of service and was a veteran of the Virginia National Guard.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Roger N. Loving of Raleigh, NC and Glenn P. Loving and his wife Diane of Madison Heights; two brothers, George G. Loving, Jr. and his wife Ambler of Williamsburg and Dabney C. Loving and his wife Linda (Lynn) of Lynchburg; two sisters, Nancy L. Rice of Lynchburg and Grace H. Mahanes of Kensington, MD and two grandchildren, Aaron G. Loving and Ann Marie Page Loving.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Wayne Meredith officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
