Daniel loved horses, the ocean and anything outdoors as well as gambling.
He is survived by his significant other, Serena Mason whom he had shared his life with for 25 years. Survivors also include two daughters; Sarah Sweeney of Monroe and Nicole Sweeney Hearn of Baltimore, MD, a stepdaughter; Ashley Martin of Monroe, two brothers; Tommy Sweeney and Michael Sweeney both of Baltimore, MD, one sister; Patty Cassat of Delaware as well as three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016, at the Whitten Monelison Chapel with Reverend Cynthia Branham officiating.
