Elsie Tyree Hall

Born in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Jessie Tyree and the late Sophie Bell Gowen Tyree. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Lee Hall; one brother, Frank E. Tyree and one sister, Gertrude B. Tyree.

Elsie was a faithful member of Union Christian Church and a retired employee of Central Virginia Training Center.

She is survived by one daughter, Dianne Hall of Lynchburg; one granddaughter, Susan H. Pillow of Rustburg; one great grandson, Nicholas J. Pillow; one niece and her close friend, Wanda Gilpin.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 25, 2013, at Union Christian Church Cemetery with The Reverend Glen Shelton, officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery after the service.
