Born July 16, 1926 in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late Dellon Jackson and Lucy Sprouse Evans and was also preceded in death by one brother, Otto Evans and four sisters, Virginia Powell, Thelma Bailey, Reva Martin, and Arlene Tape. She retired from a box factory in Philadelphia and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Daily is survived by a devoted niece, Norma Carey and husband John of Madison Heights and many other special nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013 at Amherst Cemetery with the Rev. Dave Peters officiating.
