Born on October 15, 1928, in Amherst County, he was the son of the late John A. Eubank, Sr. and Estelle Sale Eubank. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Lloyd Earl “Pete” Eubank, John Eubank, Jr., Marion “Bunt” Eubank, Robbie Massie and Thelma “Ann” Campbell.
Warren was a devoted husband, father, and friend. A proud veteran of the US Army, he honorably served his country during the Korean War. After returning home, Warren dedicated his life to the things he cherished most—his faith, his family, and his work.
As a young man, Warren accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior, and faithfully served the Lord throughout his life. He was a longtime member of Elon Baptist Church. A lineman by trade, he worked for multiple contractors throughout his career, traveling to various locations along the east coast. Warren enjoyed working with his hands—gardening, beekeeping, and woodworking were among his favorite hobbies. He also loved to travel, exploring new places and collecting memories along the way.
Warren is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Vilea Hartless Eubank; son, Ronnie Eubank (Teresa) of Madison Heights; daughter, Nancy Stinnette (Sam) of Amherst; grandchildren, Lindsey Ostergaard (Erik) of Roanoke, Jonathan Eubank (fiancée, Angie Owens) of Lynchburg, Samuel Stinnette of Amherst and Rebekah Stinnette of Morgantown, WV; great-grandchildren, James, Daniel and Caleb Ostergaard of Roanoke; brother, Talmage Eubank (Linda) of Madison Heights and sister, Evelyn Fitzgerald (Malcolm) of Monroe.
A funeral service celebrating Warren’s life will be conducted on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel officiated by Pastor Cody Bingham. Interment will immediately follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
