Jon was born on December 31, 1972, in Xenia, Ohio, to Anita (Allbright) Ryman and Jim Hargrave. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Hargrave, and his grandparents on both sides.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Anita and David Ryman; the love of his life of 33 years, Michelle Monds; his daughter, Kyrstie Mays (James); his beloved grandchildren, Rylee, Myckinlee, Everlee, and Bradley; and his cousins, Shiela and Scott Pyle, and Jessica Dunn.
Jon graduated from East Clinton High School in 1991, where he was well-loved and known for his involvement in the marching band, as well as his passion for skateboarding and flat landing. Throughout his life, he developed many interests, including off-roading in his Jeep, woodworking, and enjoying music.
He was fun-loving, kind, and ornery in the best way; if you knew Jon, you liked him. He was deeply respected by his coworkers, to whom he showed compassion and freely shared his wisdom. Above all, Jon loved his family, friends, coworkers, and pets.
