Katherine Bryant White

Born May 8, 1926 in Nelson County, she was the daughter of the late Acie Winfred Bryant, Sr. and the late Lessie Whorley Bryant and was also preceded in death by one brother, Acie W. Bryant, Jr.; one sister, Hazel B. Bell and a great-grandson, Dennis Austin Price. She was retired from Sears and was a member of Madison Heights Christian Church.

Mrs. White is survived by a daughter, Sue W. Bradshaw and husband Dennis of Madison Heights; one sister, Jean B. McBride and husband Buzzy, also of Madison Heights; one grandson, James E. Price and wife Patricia and three great-grandchildren, Kourtney Price, Chelsie Price, and Aaron Ponton.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, prior to the service from 12:30-2:00 p.m. and other times at the home of her daughter, 114 River Ridge Road, Madison Heights.
