Dawn was a wonderful person, My heart goes out to her family and friend's she was a good friend and I will miss her Deeply.

I have been in Dawns life for the past 25 years as her friend and caregiver. She was one of my best friends and I will miss her more then anything. She was the little sister I never had. To me she is not gone just somewhere I cant see her but I know she is with me. She gave me my reason to smile.

I am so glad that I met Kim through the Ms. Wheelchair Virginia Program.  She was a great person! We were in the 2004 event together as contestants and kept in touch since then.  I first realized what a nice person she was when we were at the first meal together sitting at the the same table during the Ms. Wheelchair Virginia event.  May she rest in peace.  My prayers and love go out to all those mourning her loss.  May wonderful memories wrap you in a warm embrace and carry you through the difficult moments.

How do I say good bye to my good friend of 27 year's. Dawn & I met in 1987 on the school bus we were in high school. We started talking to each other & became friend's. We always enjoyed talking on the phone. Going to the mall to shop & to just get out & talk. I was so excited when Dawn told me she was having a baby. Dawn was so excited, the doctors said she couldn't have any children. I'm sure God blessed her with Gregory! I remember going see Dawn & Gregory when they came home. I would help her make bottles & other things I could do. Dawn was a good mother, Gregory was her main focus. Dawn & I was in a fashion show together at Fashion Bug. We also did craft projects together. We also competed in the Ms. Wheelchair Virginia Program. We laughed, we cried, gave each other advise over the many year's. I remember her wedding day I hadn't seen her that happy except for when Gregory was born. She was so happy she was a very beautiful bride!! Through Dawn's life she had been sick, had trials & issues but she was a fighter! Dawn & I were at Virginia Beach one time together so we looked around, went to a few shops, enjoyed the view of the ocean. Dawn was a good friend to me. She liked to cook my favorite thing she cooked was a roast, nobody can cook it like dawn. Dawn & I was always there for each other over the many year's of being friend's.  I will miss my good friend terribly! Dawn may be gone but she will Never be forgotten!! May she rest in peace! Love you & I miss you already!!

We are very sorry for your loss. Dawn was my best friend for over 25 years, more like a sister. She was one of the best people I knew, always happy and smiling. She will be missed so much. Thank you Dawn for the friendship and the wonderful memories that I will keep close to my heart.
