Margaret Stanley Stanley Terry

Born November 13, 1924 in Madison Heights, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Maggie Perdue Stanley and was also preceded in death by a brother, James E. Stanley, Jr. and two sisters, Maggie Brown and Helen Mantiply. She was a retired Inspector with General Electric and was a member of Madison Heights Baptist Church.

Mrs. Terry is survived by her son, Rodger L. Terry and wife Darlene of Amherst; her daughter, Yvonne T. Sturmfels and husband Walter of Madison Heights; a sister, Nancy S. Page of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, Chris Terry and wife Liz, Greg Terry and wife Laurie, Jennifer Dudley and husband Kenny, and J.T. Miller and wife Tiffany and eight great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Todd Blake officiating. Interment will follow at Briarwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday, for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and other times at Rodger’s home, 338 Cedar Hill Dr., Amherst and at Yvonne’s home, 171 Kentmoor Farm Road, Madison Heights.
