Margaret Webster

Margaret Wright Webster, 67, of Madison Heights, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, August 1, 2010 at her home. She is survived by her husband of forty-three years, James (Jim) Webster.

She was born January 26, 1943 in Amherst, the daughter of Eva Rigney Wright of Madison Heights and the late Thomas Wright. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Delores "Lois" Wright Floyd. Margaret was retired from the Chapstick Company with thirty-two years of service and was of Baptist faith. She was a beloved wife, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt.

In addition to her husband, she is survived her brother, Lawrence "Buddy" Wright; her sisters, Barbara Cash and Christine Floyd; three special nephews, Jay Floyd, Tommy Wright, and Mike McLaughlin; three special nieces, Sheryl Bryant, Karen Banton, and Dawn Floyd; seven special great-nephews, Shaun Bryant, Shane Bryant, Schuyler Bryant, Brian Banton, Jason Floyd, Damian Floyd, and Larston McLaughlin; five special great nieces, Stephanie Routon, Summer Yancey, Brittany Crawley, Amanda Floyd, and Lakin McLaughlin; four special great-great-nephews, Caleb Hanks, Kadin Routon, Carter Bryant, and Colton Crawley.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Charles Stinson officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m., today, August 3, 2010 at the funeral home and other times at the residence, 270 Lakeview Drive, Madison Heights.
