
She was born in Dickenson County, VA, the daughter of the late Lemuel Lincoln Campbell and Tiney Puckett Campbell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman H. Hunt, both sons, Claude I. Hunt and Don A. Hunt; one grandson, Robert B. Hunt; one great-great-grandson, Caden M. Angus; and five brothers, Lee Campbell, Howard Campbell, Odna Campbell, Carl Campbell and Gene Campbell and one sister, Ruby Harris.
Survivors include seven grandchildren, Don Hunt, Jr. (Darlene) of Monroe, Kim Angus (Gary), Mike Hunt (Debbie) and Randall Hunt of Madison Heights, Steve Hunt, Dennis Hunt and Debbie Simonton of Rustburg; two daughters-in-law, Loretta Hunt of Amherst and Carol Hunt of Rustburg; two sisters-in-law, Alice H. Campbell of Earlysville and Louise S. Campbell of Charlottesville and 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Bunny owned and operated Bunny’s Antiques in Monroe for over 20 years. She was a member of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be conducted, 12:30 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton officiating. Entombment will be private at Fort Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Whitten Monelison Chapel and at other times at the residence of Don and Darlene Hunt.
