Marvin Hamilton

Born August 13, 1942, in Amherst Co., he was a son of the late Correll and Victoria Duff Hamilton. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Mike Hamilton.

Mr. Hamilton was retired from W.T. Curd Contractor, after 20 years of service. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Mission. “He had his own tune”.

Survivors also include two sons, Marvin Hamilton and wife Chasity, and Correll A. Hamilton and wife Beth, both of Amherst; a brother, Lester Hamilton and wife Rebecca, of Amherst; and two sisters, Kathleen Hamilton, of Monroe, and Etta Mae H. Tetrault, of Manchester, PA; close friends, George and Sandra Lunsford, and Glyde Campbell, four grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 19, 2012, from 6-8:00 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel, and at other times at the residence of Mr. Hamilton.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Duff Family Cemetery.
