Born in Lynchburg on May 24, 1951 she was a daughter of the late Thornton Phillips and Thelma Phillips. She was a retired casher with Justice Convenience Store.
She is survived by a daughter, Tonya Wiseman and her husband, Garrett of Monroe; two sons, Robert Peters of Monroe and Greg Peters and his wife Jessie of Madison Heights; two brothers, Wayne Phillips and his wife Merissa of Lynchburg, Michael Phillips of Lynchburg; two sisters, Deborah Rosser of Newport News and Lillie Richards and her husband Mike of Lynchburg; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, August 21, 2020 at Spring Hill Cemetery.
