Michael was a very passionate, fun loving, wonderful person to be around. He never met a stranger. He loved his family and friends.
At a young age, he acquired a taste for motorcycles. He had a dirt bike that he spent many hours on riding behind the family home with several of his friends. He ended up breaking his ankle at the end of one school year and then fractured it again at the beginning of the next school year. However, that didn’t stop him from riding.
He was also an avid fan for the Redskins. When he was six years old he had his first Redskins jacket. He wore it until it was almost thread bare.
His yearly trips to Myrtle Beach and the Outer Banks with his family and friends was something that he looked forward to every year.
Cancer did take him out of this life, but his family and friends were always there even during the dark days of his illness. He was never left out of life as his family and friends made sure that he was still a part of it in any way possible when he felt up to it.
