Michael “Mike” Steve Mann, Sr., 72, of Lynchburg, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at his residence.

Born on September 18, 1951 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Julius H. Mann and Carrie P. Mann. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Jean H. Mann; his son, Jason Mann; and two sisters, Shirley Tyree and Kathy Gaulden.

He is survived by his son, Michael “Mike” Steve Mann, Jr.; sister, Linda G. Mason; brother-in-law, Gary Tyree and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel.

A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
