Minnie Clark

Born in Amherst County September 1, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Dudley and Rosa Hamilton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Saford Clark; two sons, Junior Dale Hamilton and Steve Hamilton; one daughter, Diane Hamilton; and four brothers, Curtis Hamilton, Lonnie Hamilton, Bobby Hamilton and Dudley “Junebug” Hamilton.

Minnie is survived by three children, her loving daughter, Crystal Crouch, her son Wayne Hamilton and daughter Cathy Booker; two brothers, James Hamilton and Charles Hamilton; one sister, Betty Branham; six grandchildren, Dale Overstreet and his fiancé Jennifer, Dewayne Smith, Dustin Hamilton, Jesse Hamilton, Mallory Booker and Samantha Booker and a number of great grandchildren.

She retired from Boonsboro Country Club after 45 years of service. It was there that she made and continued a very special friendship with Phil Herzog. Minnie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all she met.

A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. John Sines, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul’s Episcopal Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at Whitten Monelison Chapel and at other times at the home of her daughter Crystal.
