Patricia Ann Knight Sellers

Patricia Ann Knight Sellers, 78, of Amherst passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Harvey Edward Sellers, Sr. Born May 7, 1937, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late George Robert Knight and the late Mary Louise Schmidt Frank; and stepdaughter of the late Charles Melvin Frank.

Patricia was a volunteer for Lynchburg General Hospital and was of the Lutheran faith. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to parents, Patricia was preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Sellers Gallier.

In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by three children, Brenda Sellers Thacker (Eddie) of Amherst, Harvey E. Sellers, Jr. (Angela) of Baldwinsville, NY, and Jeffrey Ross Sellers (Gena) of Lynchburg; three siblings, Charles Frank (Donna) of Baltimore, MD, Katherine Rene’ (Gene) of Stewartsville, PA and Melvin Frank (Sue) of Baltimore, MD; ten grandchildren, Michael (Tanya), Kristen (Larry), Amanda (CJ), Heather (Martin), Jenny (Brian), Chris (Chryssi), Elizabeth, Dominick, Mykala and Anthony; eight great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Briann, Miranda, Carly, Cooper, Grayson, Jackson and Violet; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Frank Gooch officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the Lynchburg General Hospital Auxiliary, The Salvation Army, the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
