Patricia Maddox Campbell

She was born on November 17, 1946 in Lynchburg, daughter of the late Henry D. Maddox, Sr. and the late Stella M. Maddox.

Trish was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved lavishing her time and gifts on her grandkids. She enjoyed shopping, dancing, going to auctions and arranging the beautiful flowers that she grew. She and her husband Ray also loved to decorate for the holidays, lighting up the house with beautiful colored lights.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray Campbell; a sister, Phyllis Coates and her son in law, Wayne Bryant.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kathy C. Bryant; a sister, Brenda Maddox; a brother, Buzz Maddox and wife Connie; five grandchildren, Kayla Barbour and husband Jeff, Chase Bryant, Mackenzie Bryant, Karsyn Brady and Hunter Brady. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Christian Barbour and Emma Barbour as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. The family is asking for privacy in using this time to visit with them.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
