Born in Lynchburg on May 13, 1942 she was a daughter of the late Lola Lang and Otis Lang.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Pat Dameron.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Douglas of Amherst and Billy Jennings and wife Katherine of Rustburg; two siblings, Pam Catlin of Concord and Janet Brooks and husband Charlie of Madison Heights; a brother-in-law Charlie Dameron; three grandchildren, Megan, Jonathan, and Samantha; and two great-grandchildren, Layla and Donvan.
