Ralph Wayne Cook

Ralph Wayne Cook, 81, of Madison Heights passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Fairmont Crossing Nursing Home. He was the husband of 60 years to Barbara Annette Cook. Born December 29, 1934, Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Oney B. Cook and the late Flora Cook.

Ralph was a retired roofing foreman for Commercial Roofing and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by three children, Michael Wayne Cook (Brenda Lee) of Madison Heights, Sandra Gail Knight of Lynchburg and Joyce Ann Price (Jeff) of Newport, TN; four siblings, Curtis Cook (Peggy) of Rural Retreat, Geneva Redden of Zephyhills, FL, Roxanne Cook of Arkansas and Norma Cook of Georgia; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
