Born May 10, 1929, in Buena Vista, she was a daughter of the late John Thomas Crist and Annie Hartless Crist. She was a retired nurses aid, and was a christian.
She was also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Survivors include five children, Theresa H. Clark and husband Thomas, of Fishersville, Thomas O. Houston and wife Karen, of TN, Kitty L. H. MCCormick and husband Buster, of Madison Heights, Vernon W. Moore and wife Wendy, of Rustburg, and David A. Moore and wife Angela, of Evington; her sister, Shannon McChesney and husband Barry, of Madison Heights, 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Services will be private.
Family asks in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Living Water Baptist Church building fund. Arrangements are being made through Whitten Funeral Home.
