Simon is survived by his wife, Nicole Poullath; his children, Rylee, Kyleigh, and Logan Poullath; his 3 brothers, Basil, Bassam, and Bashar; his 3 sisters, Bassima, Ban, and Baidaa.
Simon was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on March 8, 1978 to the late Sabiha and Aziz Poullath. Simon was a lover of cooking, hunting, fishing, and most importantly his family. He devoted his life to his family, friends, and all who knew him. He enjoyed supporting the youth in providing instruction for various outdoor activities including archery events and fishing rodeos. Many would describe Simon as a person with a heart of gold who treated anyone he met like family. He always extended a hand to those who needed it most and was a supporter to all who knew him. He was honest, giving, caring and down to earth.
Simon was sincere in all he did from the way he treated people to his work ethic. He was known to be forthright when warranted and kind when needed. He never missed an opportunity to crack a joke or make someone smile. His laugher and good natured attitude will surely be missed by all who were lucky enough to experience it.
Most importantly Simon was a devoted husband to his wife and father to his three children whom he loved so much. In all things Simon did in life loving his family was at the top of his list. He provided for his family every day by working hard, showing love, support, and most importantly being present in their lives.
His memories, love, quick-wit, and devotion will forever live on in those he raised.
“When we lose someone we love we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind”
