Born on November 2, 1973, Tanya was someone who found happiness in the little things and lived her life with a quiet, steady love for others. She enjoyed spending time working on her scrapbooks, but more than anything, she treasured being present for the people she cared about. If someone needed her, Tanya was there, no questions asked, no hesitation.
Family meant everything to Tanya. She was a devoted mother, and her two sons were truly the center of her world. Her days revolved around them, from everyday moments at home to long evenings and weekends spent at ball fields and soccer sidelines. Tanya never missed a game, always making sure she was there to cheer her boys on, proud of them in every way. Those memories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family.
Tanya was a hard worker who put her whole heart into everything she did. She showed her love through her actions by showing up, helping when needed, and putting others before herself. Even while facing health challenges over the past few years, she remained focused on caring for those she loved. Her strength during this time spoke volumes about the kind of person she was.
Tanya’s kindness, dedication, and unconditional love touched many lives. She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and friends who will forever remember her warm heart and gentle presence. She will be truly and dearly missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
Those left to cherish Tanya's memory include her husband Edward Scott Campbell; her sons Christian Campbell and his fiance Kelsy Padgett, Cole Campbell; her siblings Roger Lee "Chip" Brooks, Jr., Kayla Schüll; her mother Betty Jones and her husband Phillip; nieces Candace Marie Harless, Casey Brooks; nephew Dallas Leland Brooks; and many extended family members.
There will be a graveside service for Tanya on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 12pm at Elon Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Pastor David Turner officiating.
