She was retired from Central Virginia Training Center and was a member of Tree of Life Ministries.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Alma Melton.
Survivors include sons, R.J. Campbell and wife Jennifer of Appomattox, VA, Larry Campbell and wife Tina of Amherst, VA, and Robbie Campbell and wife Laura of Appomattox, VA. She was devoted to her three boys and lived her life for them. Affectionately known as “Nana” by her loving grandchildren, Jared, Jade, Van and Kelsie who were the light of her life. She is also survived by a sister, Starlene Kinsey of Forest, VA.
She had a sweet Labradoodle “Ritz” who was such a joy to her and she was able to share her day to day life with. Teresa was a free spirit and in her younger years traveled extensively and loved to share her adventures with family and friends.
A special heartfelt appreciation to her daughter in law, Jennifer for making sure “Mom” had everything she needed. Teresa never met a stranger and her stories, banter, and home cooking will be missed by all.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at her son Larry’s home.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Amherst Humane Society or Tree of Life Ministries.
