Vivian Campbell Drummond

Born November 15, 1930 in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late Vivian Massie Campbell and Esther Mae Thomas Campbell and was also preceded in death by her loving son, Vernon D. Drummond, Jr. and two brothers, Dandridge B. Campbell and V. Ray Campbell.

Mrs. Drummond was retired from the Central Virginia Training Center and was a member of the Farm Bureau Women’s Committee. She was a charter member of Bethel Baptist Church and was most recently attending Kingswood Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Drummond is survived by her loving grandson, J. Stephen Drummond (Courtney); three great grandchildren, who were the loves of her life, Mason, Riley, and Holden; three brothers, Connie Melvin Campbell, Gene Campbell (Juanita), and Gleason Campbell and a sister, Ann Irvine (Earl).

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2018 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Jeffrey Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Amherst Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the funeral home.
