He was born, January 26, 1939 to the late William (Pete) Madison McClenny Sr. and Bessie Brodie McClenny.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria McClenny of Richmond; five children, Robin Ayers and husband Tom of Lynchburg, William M. “Billy” McClenny, III and wife Elizabeth of Amherst; Kathy Gore and husband Jeff of Lynchburg, Robert McClenny and wife Lacon of Harrisonburg and Matthew McClenny of Richmond; one sister, Sally Wade of Richmond and nine grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
