Born on June 7, 1959 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Betty Guill Iseman and the late Zan Price Iseman, Sr.
After leaving high school, ZP went to work for his father at Zan Iseman & Son Masonry. After years of working with his father, he left the Masonry Business and went to work for Gould Battery in Lynchburg. As fate would have it, ZP returned to working with his father at Discount Septic Tank Service before branching out on his own and starting Z.P.I. Inc., where he worked for 35 years. No matter what job he had, he always showed pride in the work he performed. When ZP wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing, drinking, riding 4 wheelers, his guns, and spending time with family and friends in the mountains.
In addition to his wife, Deborah, and mother, Betty, ZP is survived by his two sons, Zackery Price Iseman and Matthew Blake Iseman and girlfriend, Anna Tomlin; his sister, Susan Wheeler of Lexington; his very special niece, Ashley V. Wheeler; and numerous aunts, uncles, other family members and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Mark Cheatham officiating. The family will receive friends following the service till 7:30 pm.
