Alice Faye (Cochran) Horan

Alice was born in Charleston on October 27, 1944, a daughter of the late Carl and Emily Morton Cochran. She was the embodiment of sunshine and brought joy to everyone she encountered. Her kind spirit was infectious and inspired love beyond the description of words. Her heart will live on in those whose life she touched.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Rev. Marvin Horan; granddaughter, Allyson; three sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Jerry) Chandler and Barbara Conner, all of Charleston, and Jennifer Horan of Charlotte, NC; brother, Roger (Trish) Cochran of Mobile, Alabama; and three grandchildren, Nathan, Brian and Christine.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday July 27, 2022 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Charles Pennington officiating. Burial will follow at New Antioch Cemetery, Red House.

A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
