She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; parents, Lack and Ethel Carroll; a sister, Marge Stone; and brothers, Billy and Mickey Carroll.
Betty worked in Michigan and Ohio, then for Macke Company and Beverly Nursery Home, then private duty care. She was a member of the Charleston Moose.
She was a kind person to everyone.
Betty loved her dog, Misty Dawn.
She is survived by two sons, J. L. and Suzette of Glasgow and Jeff and Lisa of Winfield; four grandchildren, Grant, Bryce,
Andrea and Jamie; three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Eli and Jay Lee; three step great-grandchildren, Kay Lee, Rylee and Bryson; and a host of dear friends.
The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. Harold Massey officiating. She will be buried beside her husband at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
Family and friends will gather for the visitation one hour prior to service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
