Chuck was born on May 16, 1956 in Akron, Ohio and was a member of Rensford Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lewis Given.
Chuck is survived by his daughter, Malena Given of Nitro; mother, Bonnie James Given of Charleston; sister, Jeanne (James) Shaffer of Elkview; brother, James (Diana) Given of Charleston; five grandchildren; and three nephews.
The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 25, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. Ed Jarrett officiating. The burial will follow the service at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
Family and friends will gather for the visitation one hour prior to service on Thursday at the funeral home.
