

Frank was born and raised in Fayetteville, West Virginia and graduated from Fayetteville High School where he was a member of the football team. He went on to graduate from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where he majored in Interior Design. He worked in the furniture and carpet industry for many years. After retirement, he began working for the West Virginia Legislature as head doorkeeper and worked there for five sessions.
Frank was former president of Wolf Creek Lodge in Summers County and the Back Creek Hunt Camp in Monroe County. He enjoyed many days at these two places, cooking, hunting, fishing and relaxing with his friends. He was also a former member of the Kanawha County Republican Executive Committee. He attended St. Agnes Catholic Church, and his greatest joy was found in spending time with his son and his family in Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Larese and Virginia Larese Greene. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Katherine (Kay) Larese and his son, Marc Larese of Lebanon, Tennessee, of whom he was so proud; his beloved grandchildren, Hunter Larese of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Hailey Larese of Lebanon, Tennessee were the lights of his life.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon with a memorial mass beginning at 12:00 noon at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 4807 Staunton Avenue SE, Charleston, West Virginia with Father Phillip Szabo officiating.
Per Frank’s wishes, he will be cremated with his ashes being interred at Huse Memorial Park in Fayetteville, West Virginia, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Frank’s memory to the Kanawha Charleston Animal Shelter, 1248 Greenbrier Street, Charleston, West Virginia 25311.
