James David Wilson

James was born in Morgantown on January 24, 1949, to the late Harry and Vera Wilson. He was a retired Radiology Tech at St. Francis Hospital with over 40 years of service. He was a Vietnam War US Navy Veteran and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening.

Jim was a devoted husband to Margaret “Peggy” Wilson for 20 years, and a loving father to Tom and Sarah Wilson and Aaron Hill. He had five grandchildren, Mason and Jessalyn Lantz, Alex and Henry Wilson, and Ethan Hill.

At Jim’s request there will be no visitation, however, all are welcome to a Graveside Service with Military Rites, held at 2:00p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, with H.R. Whittington officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 4605 MacCorkle Avenue SW, South Charleston, West Virginia 25309.
