Marion David Leake

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, John Robert and Georgia A. Leake; and his first wife, Jean Leake.

He is survived by his wife, Georgeanne Leake; daughter, Beth (Robert) Jarrett; sons, J.C. (Amanda) and Thomas; sisters, Mary Alice (Mike) Mace and Roberta Jones; brother, James (Deana) Leake; granddaughters, Kristyne (Tom) Hoskins and Selah Dawson; grandsons, Caleb Leake, David Jarrett, Kristopher Dawson, Matthew Spornitz; and special great-grandson, Dominic.

Dave graduated from East Bank High School and WV State College; worked as a photographer for WSAZ for 38 years and retired from Pile Hardware.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Morris Memorial United Methodist Church, Kanawha City, with Pastor Ray Stonestreet officiating. Burial with Military Rites will follow at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar.

A visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, starting at 10:00 am until service time at 12:00 Noon.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Morris Memorial United Methodist Church, 4615 MacCorkle Avenue S.E., Charleston, West Virginia 25304.
