Ana Maria Vargas

On January 23, 2015, Ana Maria Vargas entered her final rest surrounded by her family in Care One at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy after a long and valiant battle with Multiple Sclerosis. A lifelong resident of the city, she graduated Perth Amboy High School in 1979, attended Middlesex County College, and was a bookkeeper for Schott Brothers Inc.

Surviving are her daughter Cassandra Ojeda and grandson Ziyon , parents Maximino and Haydee Vargas and nine sibling: Edwin Vargas, Margie Perez and husband Arcelio, Luis Vargas, Max Vargas and wife Mary, Elba Vargas, Raul Vargas, Eddie Vargas, Gloria Rosado and husband Fred, Robert Vargas, and many beloved cousins, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, January 27, 2015 between 10am and 12pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 U.S. Highway 9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made online to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at http://www.nationalmssociety.org.
