Beverly G Grimste

Born in Kano, Nigeria to Rev. George and Susanna Worling, Christian missionaries with the Sudan Interior Mission, Beverly moved to the United States in her early teen years and graduated from Ben Lippen High School in Asheville NC and Columbia International University in SC with a degree in Biblical Studies and Education.

Beverly loved children and in addition to being a small business bookkeeper, she was a teacher, homemaker and childcare provider where she was affectionally known as “Aunt Bev” by many.

Beverly was a faithful member of Manahawkin Baptist Church notably serving on the Missions board as well as the Board of Education for Lighthouse Christian Academy.

Beverly leaves behind loving husband of 53 yrs Frederick O. Grimste Jr, daughter Melissa Hollander and son-in law Kenneth, Son Fred Grimste III and daughter-in law Anna, as well as grandchildren; Michelle, Frederick IV, Sean and Sarah.

A Memorial Service will be held at Manahawkin Baptist Church on Sat December 28th 11am with a Celebration of Life Luncheon to follow at the Stafford Township Volunteer Fire Company Hall.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lighthouse Christian Academy or Barnegat Light Volunteer Fire Company.
