Dear Karen and Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Don's passing. I am sending my deepest sympathies to all of you.
I will share with you one of many memories of Don . . . albeit a long time ago . . . but none the less sweet. We dated in High School, and the memory that jumps into my head . . . are the many pool games we played in the basement of my family home in West Orange. . . always seemed to be part of our date. I still shoot pool today, and now I will carry thoughts of Don in my head and heart when ever I play. He was a beautiful person . . . and as I've seen bits on Facebook over the past couple of years, Don continued to be a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend.
May he rest in peace and May your hearts be lifted by the many good memories of the man you all loved.
Love, from an old friend

Don was a legend, in my eyes, around this area. His presence will surely be missed. In the last couple years we shared a lot of dinners with him and I was one of the lucky ones who got to hear his stories of how he grew up, started in business, and his music life. I will hold on to these memories. We will miss him but also know he is in God’s hands now. Love you Don.
