Eileen Thomas

Pottstown, PA. She was the wife of the late Roosevelt G. Thomas, who died in 1988.

Born in Barnegat, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Palmer, Sr. and Elizabeth (Miles)

Palmer.

Mrs. Thomas was a graduate of Southern Regional High School and Ocean County Community

College, where she became a Registered Nurse. For many years, she worked in geriatrics at

various nursing homes in the NJ. Most recently she retired from Visiting Home Care in Toms

River, NJ. She was a Baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Barnegat, NJ. Mrs. Thomas enjoyed religious

studies and tv westerns. •

Survivors include:Three Sons - Tommy Thomas of Waretown, NJ; Danny Thomas and his wife Sandy of Tuckerton, NJ;

Kenneth Thomas and his wife Michelle Tuckerton, NJ

Four Daughters - Geraldine E. Thomas of Waretown, NJ; Terrianne and her husband David

Patterson of Pennsauken, NJ; Patricia E. Thomas-LaRoche of Royersford, PA; Rosetta,and her husband of

Keith Lomax of Smyrna, DE

Two Sisters - Lorraine Palmer of Toms River, NJ and Eleanor Palmer of Barnegat, NJ

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Palmer,

Jr. and Tyrone Palmer, and her sister Charlotte Palmer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Saturday at 11AM Dec 20 2014 at the THos L Shinn Funeral Home 10 Hilliard Dr Manahawkin NJ 08050. Pastor Ruth Bell will officiate. Interment will be at the Barnegat Hill Cemetery Barnegat NJ. In lieu of flowers Donation may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
