

Born in Teaneck, NJ, he was the son of Eugene J and Florence Callahan Moynihan.
Eugene was a graduate of St. Peter’s College, NJ and New York University, NY.
He served his country proudly as a U.S. Marine earning the rank of Major.
Gene had a varied and interesting career during his lifetime. He was a finance and marketing executive at major corporations including Curtiss-Wright Corp, ACF Industries, General Foods, and Trans World Airlines and later started his own independent marketing companies. He taught Marketing, Economics, Finance and International Business at the college level and was author of the textbook Global Business.
Gene had wide-ranging interests including woodworking, boating, cooking, gardening, writing, playing music, and meeting with his investment club. He was a fascinating source of stories about business, investment theory, the Marines, his world travels, gourmet cuisine and many other topics, a testament to a life well lived.
He is reunited with his beloved wife Regina, who predeceased him in 2020. He was also predeceased by his brother, Timothy and his sister, Patricia. His daughter Colleen, son Brian and daughter-in-law, Miju and his four grandchildren, Sean, Alea, Ian and Kyle, survive him.
A Mass will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11AM, at St Francis of Assisi Church, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, NJ 08008.
