Frederick was predeceased by his son Frederick R Catelli III.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Barbara, his loving daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Lee and Ronald Gideon, his cherished grandchildren; Michael Case, Connor Case, Cory Case, Tyler Catelli (Olivia) and Alex Catelli and his precious great-granddaughters, Lillian and Chloe.
Frederick proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a 4TH degree Knight of Columbus Council #14658 with Nativity of our Lord Church, Monroe, NJ. Upon moving to Barnegat, NJ, he became a member of the Knights of Columbus with St. Mary Catholic Church.
Fred was a prolific reader, especially books about History and Bibles, he was a professional photographer by trade and he enjoyed traveling.
A visitation will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ. A funeral service will be 10:00am on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home with a committal service to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 840 Cranbury South River Rd, Jamestown, NJ
