John Richard Mee

AGE: 61 • Mt Laurel and Manahawkin

John “Richard” Mee, 61, known by his family and friends as “Rich”, passed on Friday, July 1, 2011, in Manahawkin. Rich was the owner/general manager and vice president of Liberty Toyota in Burlington, NJ.

A dedicated husband and father, Rich was also an accomplished businessman and an enthusiastic outdoorsman who loved his family and enjoyed traveling. He was a skilled and accomplished aviator. Rich loved flying and was a member of the Red Star Formation Group, a 15 member aerobatic group piloting the Manchang, CJ6 Military Trainer. Rich was learning formation flying with Red Star Formation Group prior to his passing. Rich was also a qualified Bonanza, Beechcraft pilot. When he wasn’t working or flying, Rich could be seen on the golf course, riding his Harley Davidson, or on the water riding a jet ski or piloting his boat. He loved his family and his favorite holiday was the 4th of July. Rich was a 1968 graduate of Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin, New Jersey.

Rich was predeceased by his father, John Thomas Mee. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Alicia and Renee Mee, Son Dan Trapp and granddaughter Jocelyn Trapp Wife Kimberly Mee, his mother, Betty Jean Mee, and brothers, Craig, Jimmy, and Raymond Mee.
