Joseph A. Park

Mr. Park was born In Belle Vernon, PA. and was raised in Fairless Hills, PA. and resided in Manahawkin for the past thirty five years.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Howard R. and Margaret M. Park and his nephew Howard R. Park III.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bernadette Larkin Park of Little Egg Harbor, his daughter Jennifer C. Park McBrien (James) of Waretown, NJ a son, Jonathan A. Park (Bridget) of Egg Harbor Township, NJ,a son, Jason Hazelton, of Manahawkin, NJ, his granddaughters, Kieran and Andie McBrien, his brother, Howard R. Park ,Jr. (Ann) of Fairless Hills, Pa. His sister Doris Park Gonzales (Larry ) of Levittown Pa, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Joe graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1965 and served in the US Army as an MP. After serving he graduated from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy in Hershey, Pa. and was employed as a police officer for Middletown Township Police Department, Joe then graduated with a BS in Commerce from Rider University, Lawrenceville, NJ.

Joe was a successful entrepreneur, owning several restaurants in Manahawkin, NJ and a successful accounting firm.

The family will be accepting visitors from 10:AM until 12:00PM on Tuesday, Feb.12th at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home 10 Hilliard Dr. Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A Memorial service will begin at Noon.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Stafford Township EMS, volunteer fire company and police department for their compassion and professionalism.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Stafford Township EMS, The Stafford Township Volunteer Fire Co, or the Stafford Township PBA in Memory of Joe.
