Lorraine Smith

She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Donald, her loving children, Janet Rice and her husband Daniel; Carol Boyle and her husband Edward; and Don Smith and his wife Jennifer. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Derek and Shauna Rice; Dylan and Shannon Boyle; and Kyra and Preston Smith and her dear brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Gloria Menz as well as several nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was a very active Mahjong and Bridge player, she would also be found swimming in the lagoon behind her house and then at the Stafford Meridian pool. Her sense of humor will always be remembered by her family and friends.

The biggest and most cherished part of her life was the times spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. The bond between Lorraine and her grandchildren was like no other. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin on Sunday, January 14th from 10:00am-2:00pm with a service to follow at 2:00.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Lorraine's name be made to Ocean Community Church, 1492 Rte. 72 West , Manahawkin or to Southern Ocean Medical Center.
